coverphoto“We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.”  So says Pierre Teilhard de Chardin. Me, I’m not so sure. About anything. But I am interested in asking questions, turning my days over and seeing what’s beneath them. I’m interested in finding hope and living by faith and not by chocolate.

Beyond that, here are some facts: I’m a wife, a mom, a daughter, a friend, a boss, an employee, a citizen, sometimes a writer, working in advertising, living in the Chicago area.

  1. Just came across your blog link on Covenant News Wire and I think it is smashing! Apparently other folks in the Covenant denomination agree. I like your heart, your clear presentation of some very down-to-earth experiences and your love of the Lord. Like you, I don’t like to be classified in my Christianity, even though I identify with a particular denomination. My spirituality is about Christ, first and foremost. If you’d like to check it out, I have a blog on wordpress too. It is called Porter Posts/Poetry by Meg (megscanner.org). Happy Easter!
